Initial Thoughts

Assignment three is based around the decisive moment. We have the choice to explore the decisive moment or to invert this to the indecisive moment.

I looked into the Decisive moment a lot prior to deciding what to base my assignment on, the photographers I looked into mostly focus on street photography. I also watched the video that was in the guide book of the view on assessing David Fletchers assignment three. You can see the video here: https://weareoca.com/subject/film/david-fletcher/. Student, David Fletcher – asked tourists to take photos of themselves in front of well known landmarks such as, Buckingham Palace and Big ben then he used the selfie photo and took a photo of them holding this image up in front of the memorial place.

Next, I brainstormed some ideas and photographers that I wanted to research, followed by my plan (please see below).

I live in quite a rural location therefore, I thought I would catch the train with my son to the nearest big city centre which is, Plymouth. I was going to try staying in one place and hit my shutter in certain minute intervals but felt this restricted me therefore, I took my photos up and down the highstreet outside Drake Circus.
